Our Practice

After 30+ years as a general ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon in Eastern North Carolina, I decided to dedicate my career to understanding and treating Dry Eye Disease (DED). I witnessed a staggering growth in patients presenting with discomfort, irritation, and infection related to DED and realized the tremendous need for a dedicated effort to providing my patients with effective solutions.
I've built a career on helping patients regain their vision through the combination of evidence-based practices, therapies, and advanced technologies. Committed to delivering the best care to my patients suffering from DED, I continue to stay abreast of the latest research and employ the very best technologies. Additionally, in my many years of practice, I've found that lifestyle changes and diet have a profound impact on disease progression, especially as it relates to dry eyes. My passion for treating patients, educating them on their condition, and seeing the remarkable improvement in their quality of life motivates me each and every day. I love my patients and am proud of what me and my amazing staff can do for them.
When I'm not treating patients, I'm busy visiting my four children and three grandchildren. I also enjoy exercising and cooking as I believe a balanced life is the key to a happy life!
Thank you to the Wake Forest community for welcoming Watson Dry Eye Center to the community, and I look forward to helping many more people in The Triangle.
